THE OLD DRIFT

WELLNESS & CONTRAST THERAPY

Nestled in the South Wales valleys near Trelewis is the site of the former Old Drift coal mine which closed in 1989. Now the site hosts various businesses including the summit indoor rock climbing centre.

Wellness and Contrast therapy is not new to South Wales but our aim is to not only create an environment where we aim to enrich peoples physical health but also their mental health.

Mental Health is something very close to our hearts. It is an important issue that affects individuals, families, and communities alike. Acknowledging the significance of mental well-being is crucial in today’s fast-paced world, where stress and anxiety can often take centre stage.

Understanding and addressing mental health is vital as it influences how we think, feel and act. It also affects our ability to cope with stress, relate to others, and make choices. Stigmatisation surrounding mental health issues can prevent individuals from seeking the help they need, leading to isolation and further difficulties.

At The Old Drift we want to create a space where people can take some time out from their day and spend it on self care.
